I believe it is crucial to understand the root cause of why you are not feeling your best in order to optimize your health. I will do this by actively listening to your unique health story with the aim of understanding what your symptoms may be saying about your health and the underlying causes of imbalance. Together we will determine the best treatment options for you and your lifestyle. As a Naturopathic Doctor, I utilize comprehensive lab testing, nutritional guidance and supplementation, botanical medicines, acupuncture, bio-identical hormones and lifestyle modifications to help you take charge of your health.
My personal struggle with acne started when I went to university. At first it was just little bumps under the skin, which led to a prescription for topical antibiotics. From then on everything I did seemed to make it worse. I tried it all— topical Vitamin A, the birth-control pill, oral antibiotics and every over-the–counter acne product I could think of, all of which left me feeling frustrated and self-conscious. I got to the point where I was suffering from full-faced cystic acne and was told that my only option was a medication with significant side effects.
This was the tipping point for me; it’s what led me to Naturopathic Medicine. I saw my first Naturopathic Doctor, an appointment that ultimately changed the trajectory of my life. Addressing my digestive and hormonal health had a significant influence on my skin and taught me that healthy skin really does come from within. I have made it my mission to help women get to the root of their health concerns to live their healthiest lives.

I began my health education journey at the University of Toronto where I received an Honours Bachelor degree, double majoring in Health & Disease and Psychology. I furthered my education with 4 years of study at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where I received my Doctorate of Naturopathy.
After graduation, I successfully completed the Ontario Prescribing and Therapeutics examination, which licensed me to perform vitamin injections and prescribe bio-identical hormone therapy. Next, I obtained accreditation in intravenous infusion therapy to acquire certification to administer IV vitamins and minerals. Additionally, I have received training in cosmetic acupuncture techniques. I am a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), and the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
